Pet Memorial Etiquette and Rituals

When our beloved pets pass away, it is a time of deep sorrow. However, it is essential to arrange a proper farewell for our cherished companions. One of the ways to honor their memory is through offering flowers during the memorial, symbolizing the love and attachment we hold in our hearts.
Pet paper burning and other rituals are also significant, but they can be hard to find in physical stores. Fortunately, there are many online options available. It is crucial to distinguish between them and provide the most practical items for our pets.

Observing important dates such as the seventh day (head seven), the twenty-first day (three seven), the thirty-fifth day (five seven), and the forty-ninth day (tail seven) is crucial. Additionally, traditional festivals like Qingming Festival, Ghost Festival, and Winter Solstice should be considered. The timing of these rituals is best conducted according to local customs. A common practice is to perform the rituals after 6 PM, preferably between 9 PM and 11 PM when the sun has set.
